Notes on Looking Beyond Two Markets
Early observations from reading about Istanbul, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur — and why I am in no hurry.
Singapore is home. New York is the current experiment. But I keep a quiet list of other markets I am reading about — not to act on, but to understand.
Each has a different story on regulation, currency, demand and foreign ownership. For now, this is research. The best opportunities I have seen came from patience rather than urgency.
